On January 22, 2014 Ukraine International Airlines supported by the Consulate General of Ukraine in New York delivered a presentation of the New York (John Kennedy International Airport) – Kiev (Boryspil International Airport) non-stop scheduled service launch.
The presentation, held at the Ukrainian Institute of America, was attended by diplomats, representatives of the trade and industry associations, business circles, Ukrainian diaspora and civil society organizations, the media and diplomats of the Consulate General of Ukraine in New York and the Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the United Nations.
Igor Sybiga, Consul General of Ukraine in New York greeted the guests with a welcoming speech and an appeal from Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Olexander Motsyk.
In addressing the participants it was stressed upon the importance of the New York (John Kennedy International Airport) – Kyiv (Boryspil International Airport) non-stop scheduled service launch for the further development of effective cooperation between the U.S. and Ukraine. It was also stressed upon the need for further development of bilateral cooperation.
According to Ukraine International Airlines the first flight Kyiv – New York is scheduled on April 26, 2014.
