Recent developments in Ukraine have created economic turmoil for the country. Although emergency aid packages from the IMF and US will provide some immediate relief, Ukrainian officials are working to secure a brighter economic future by developing stronger industry, including IT cloudsourcing, with a vision to make the country the Silicon Valley of Europe by securing 10-15 percent of the global IT outsourcing industry, estimated at $288 billion in 2013.

This event was dedicated to the implementation of the Government of Ukraine initiative announced in early April this year by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Pavlo Sheremeta to make Ukraine a European Silicon Valley or Brain-basket of Europe.

At the event, the management of TransparentBusiness, EPAM introduced to the U.S. officials, business, NGO and media representatives information regarding current status and prospects for development of the Ukrainian IT market, including technological solutions in IT outsourcing and IT cloudsourcing (one of the types of outsourcing that provides for unique transparency and effectiveness in terms of project implementation monitoring).
