For the past three months our enemies have been doing everything possible to destabilize the situation in the country and disrupt the election process. However, the Ukrainians turned out to be stronger and wiser.

The government, on its part, did its best to prevent disruption of elections so that the election campaign was held fairly and transparently, without the use of administrative resource and pressure on voters in order to secure the possibility of all Ukrainians to elect a decent President.

Today we build a new European state, the basis of which was laid by millions of Ukrainians who proved that they are able to defend their choice and their country. We will never again allow depriving us of freedom and independence, or turning our Ukraine into a part of a Post-Soviet empire. 

At present, we are creating an efficient army, we have started reforming the law-enforcement system and the judicial authority, and we are laying foundation of a new economic model of our country.

On May 25, having elected a President, we will complete formation of a legitimate and responsible authority in Ukraine. We will finish cementing foundation of our state.

I ask each of You to come to the election precinct and vote for the candidate You trust. 

I believe that jointly we are able to turn Ukraine into a democratic and legal state, where it will be safe to live and bring up children, where the authority will be accountable to people and the country will work for its citizens.

Let us remember: today the future of Ukraine depends on the civic position of each of us!
