On March 30, 2014 Ukrainian historical and educational center of New Jersey, Somerset, New Jersey, held an ecumenical memorial service, led by bishops of the UGCC and UOC-USA, headed by Metropolitans Anthony and Stephen concelebrated with more than 20 priests.

Ambassador of Ukraine Oleksandr Motsyk and Consul General of Ukraine in New York Igor Sybiga, diplomats of the Embassy of Ukraine to the United States and the Consulate General took part in the commemorative event honoring the heroes of Maidan.
