The exhibition "Arms and Security" is held under the patronage of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The main organizers of the exhibition: the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

For 10 years the exhibition has become a traditional meeting place for Ukrainian gunsmiths, due to its main feature – the demonstration on the same area of arms and equipment for special and civil employment. During Ukraine's only weapon exhibition, leading weapon companies of Ukraine annually exhibit the most varied range of (in the price range and the number of world famous brands) hunting, sporting, historical and bladed weapons-related products for hunting and recreation.

In 2014 organizers aim to create a demonstration area and business platform in Ukraine for developers, manufacturers, suppliers and customers of arms, military hardware and equipment for armed forces, law enforcement and security agencies. For the first time on the exhibition will be the demonstration of military shipbuilding potential. At the same time no less attention will be given to the further development and exposure of civilian weapons.

Interest in the defense exhibition is caused by the presence in the state one of the largest armies in Europe, which requires modernization and re-equipment, presence of a sufficiently powerful military-industrial complex which companies are in need of cooperation with the developers of advanced technologies for the creation and production of certain modern armament in the interests of armed forces and export providing.

Within the bounds of the new format at the exhibition in 2014 will be invited the official delegations of foreign countries, foreign government customers of defense products, partners of Ukraine in the arms business, as well as Ukrainian and foreign companies that develop and produce weapons and equipment for the ground and naval forces, police forces, equipment for the protection of national borders and maintenance of security, as well as hunting weapons, ammunition and equipment

In exhibition pavilions there is a possibility to provide a demonstration of natural samples of large size military hardware, and provide the highest level of exposition construction, comfortable working conditions, delegations reception, holding the conferences, meetings, receptions and other exhibitions
